Are You Tired of Living with Unwanted Hair?

At The Oasis Medical Aesthetics, our goal is to enhance your natural beauty and revitalize your appearance and health. Laser hair removal destroys the hair at its root, so the hair cannot return. Our state-of-the-art laser treatment system combines Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy and Radiofrequency (RF) therapy to give you the best results, a combination called E-Light therapy. E-Light therapy uses scattered wavelengths of light (IPL) to destroy the hair shaft and RF energy to heat and destroy the follicle. Goodbye unwanted hair, along with waxing, shaving, and plucking!

Enhanced Quality of Life with Laser Hair Removal

We pride ourselves on offering a boutique med spa experience where we really get to know you and develop a personalized treatment plan unique to you. When you come to our luxury offices, our founder, Eve Du, will meet with you to have a conversation about your aesthetic goals. She will collaborate with you to plan your treatment and help you obtain smooth skin free from stubborn, unwanted hair with laser hair removal in Southlake.

Am I a Good Candidate for Laser Hair Removal?

Dr. Du’s background is deeply rooted in molecular and cellular medicine and her experience in the complex, demanding fields of plastic surgery and dermatology. She understands the importance of access to world-class care and brings you only the best.

The E-Light therapy laser hair removal system at The Oasis Medical Aesthetics can be used to treat light, dark, or brown hair and works with all skin tones. Laser hair removal can be used to target unwanted hair on many areas of your body:

  • Back
  • Arms
  • Chest
  • Shoulders
  • Chin
  • Neck
  • Upper lip
  • Legs
  • Bikini zone

Preparing for Laser Hair Removal

We ensure you are familiar with the treatment expectations and preparation protocols leading up to your laser hair removal. In the days prior to your session, you should stay out of the sun, avoid plucking and waxing, and try to avoid anti-inflammatory medications.

Your hair should be in the growth phase so the treatment can target the hair bulb, and we’ll ask you to shave the area with a new blade the day before to avoid stubble that could attract the light energy emitted by our laser device.

Your Treatment Experience Fast and Effective Hair Removal

On the day of your laser hair removal, we first cleanse the treatment site and apply a numbing gel. You will be equipped with protective eyewear. Dr. Du will apply an E-light therapy wand to the procedure area. (She will apply the appropriate filters for hair thickness and your skin color.) The E-Light therapy system emits a cooling sensation, so you shouldn’t feel any discomfort from the IPL and RF as they target the unwanted hair. The entire process can take a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the size and number of treated areas.

What to Expect After Your Treatment

You may experience some redness or swelling following your laser hair removal in Southlake, but you can use an ice pack to help alleviate any minor discomfort. You can resume your normal schedule following your procedure, but you should avoid excessive sun exposure for a few weeks.

Results from your laser hair removal should appear within a few days. For the most thorough results, you will need a series of sessions to remove unwanted hair as it enters the growth phase.
